Vdovjak Winetoo

Matuš Vdovjak farms 4 hectares in Veľká Tŕňa, in the northernmost vineyards of the entire Tokaj region, on the Slovak side of the border. A pioneer of the Tokaj Underground movement promoting natural winemaking in the region, he works with the classic Tokaj varieties - Furmint, Lipovina and Yellow Muscat - sometimes experimenting with Georgian-style amphorae. WineToo reflects his low-intervention, terroir-first approach: rustic, characterful and shaped by the cool, northerly climate of his vineyards.
