Tutti frutti Toranja

Toranja means 'grapefruit' in Portuguese, a fitting name for this citrus-driven Grenache Gris. The grapes come from 40-year-old vines planted on schist near the sea in Collioure, organically farmed, spontaneously vinified with native yeasts and aged in cement. Intense straw-yellow colour, with citrus, pineapple and apple on the nose; fresh acidity balanced by ripe fruit sweetness and a savoury finish.
