Settimia is Antichi Vigneti Manca's passito - a sweet wine, as the label plainly states ('Romangia IGT Passito'), bottled in 500ml format at 15% alcohol. Made by the Manca sisters from dried native Romangia grapes grown on calcareous, wind-swept soils near the Gulf of Asinara, with the estate's usual spontaneous fermentation and unfiltered, naturalist approach. Warm, concentrated and honeyed, built for the end of the meal.
