Kurtz Discorsi

Discorsi ('conversations') comes from a 60-year-old Umbrian vineyard of Procanico and non-aromatic Malvasia. About 60% of the grapes are vinified as a white wine, the remaining 40% left as whole berries to infuse in the juice for around 30 days before pressing and finishing fermentation in steel. Marco Durante dedicates the wine to poet Erich Fried, describing it as the kind of wine meant to loosen conversation at the end of an evening - wine as a tool for making words, and company, more beautiful.
