Frisach Abrunet Rosat

Celler Frisach is run by brothers Francesc and Joan Ferré, whose family has farmed this corner of Terra Alta - the site of major battles in the Spanish Civil War - for over 200 years. L'Abrunet ('the swallow' in Catalan) is their entry-level range, named for the birds that grace the landscape and representing youth and freshness. The rosé is certified organic Garnatxa, briefly skin-macerated then fermented spontaneously in steel. Fresh, fruity and easy-drinking, with real Mediterranean character.
