Chona's Marani Rkatsiteli

A pure expression of Rkatsiteli from Chona's Marani, macerated on its skins for around six months in traditional qvevri. Intense amber colour with a fine balance between tannin and drinkability - more food wine than easy glou-glou. Dried apricot, thyme and a touch of sour apple on the nose; stable and age-worthy once opened, in keeping with the Chonishvili family's strict Kakhetian production method.
