Castellina Solare 21

Fattoria Castellina is a historic, biodynamic estate on the Montalbano hills near Florence, founded in 1937 and now in its third generation. Solare is their pure Vermentino, grown on sandy-silty soils rich in sandstone skeleton at around 300m altitude, where the vineyards catch sea breezes all the way from the Tyrrhenian coast. Spontaneous fermentation, no added yeasts, max. 40mg/L total sulphites. Bright, sun-drenched and saline, true to its name.
