Bulli Ortrugo

A traditional sparkling white from the Bulli family estate in Bacedasco Alto, above Castell'Arquato in the Piacenza hills. Made with the indigenous Ortrugo grape using the ancestral method (rifermentazione naturale): the wine referments in bottle with its own indigenous yeasts, with no added sulfites. Pale straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose moves from chamomile and lime blossom to ripe medlar and fresh hay; the palate is saline, fleshy and clean, closing on a savory, rustic note typical of unfiltered, farmhouse winemaking.
