Barraco Altomare 20

Altomare is one of the few Barraco wines aged partly in wood, a structured Grillo from vines near the sea outside Marsala. Spontaneous fermentation and ageing develop real depth and complexity, with the variety's classic oxidative-leaning style giving layered dried fruit and saline minerality. A wine 'of the sea', as Grillo has long been nicknamed in this part of Sicily.
