Aldo Viola Plus 19

A pure Syrah from Aldo Viola's vineyards on the Feudo Guarini hill near Trapani, where vines grow at around 300m altitude in a wind-exposed site that limits the need for vineyard treatments. Plus is one of Aldo's more structured reds, vinified with minimal intervention and organic/biodynamic-influenced farming. Deep ruby-violet colour, dark fruit and Mediterranean herb aromatics, with a warm, generous palate balanced by fine tannins. Reflects Aldo's philosophy of wine as a vehicle for telling the story of a specific place.
