This amber wine is made from Kakhetian Mtsvane grown on the family's two-hectare vineyard in the Tsinandali micro-zone (550m altitude), fermented and aged in traditional clay qvevri buried underground, following an 8,000-year-old Georgian method recognised by UNESCO. Extended skin contact gives the wine real tannic structure; the nose shows ripe apricot, pear and quince with honey and dried nut tones, balanced by tarragon and mint notes characteristic of Mtsvane.
